We have developed and manufacture over 4,000 different types of liners
We have developed and manufacture over 4,000 different types of liners for all types of containers in various sizes and we therefore have a large number of moulds and welding tools available. It is rarely necessary to produce new tools. This way our customers save both time and money.
You also benefit from our experience when it comes to the selection of materials used. We know the demands of different products on packaging. Our range of materials is ideally tailored to meet these demands. However, if we do not have a product in the range which meets with your requirements, we will work together with you on a new, cost-effective solution. Our experienced staff will happily advise you.
NITTEL is the leading supplier of container liners using both the thermal moulding and welding method, therefore we can ensure to provide you with the best advice on the selection of the most suitable liner.
When the company was founded over 60 years ago, the range included just one type of product, the Round Bottom Liner for steel drums. To read about NITTEL's history please click here.
NITTEL manufactures only in Germany but have sales and warehouse locations in Germany, France, UK and The Netherlands.
NITTEL Raunheim - The Raunheim site has been in place since the company was founded. It is from there that our customers (excluding the UK, Ireland, France and The Netherlands) are supervised, turnover figures are monitored, company communication is controlled and job interviews are held. In short, this is the home of our administration.
NITTEL Halle - The decision to start manufacturing in Halle was made in 1991. Since then, substantial investments have been made in the manufacturing facility, which was acquired though trustee purchase.
The expansion in 2008 has added an additional 2,650 m² (28,500 ft²) of floor space, 850 m² (9,150 ft²) for production and new machines, as well as 1,800 m² (19,350 ft²) of warehouse space for finished goods. New administrative and common rooms have also been built to accommodate the sharp rise in the number of employees working at the plant, particularly in the areas of controlling, pre-production and quality control. The additions are highly modern and conform to the best possible hygiene standards.
NITTEL UK & Ireland - NITTEL UK Ltd was established in 1997 as part of the NITTEL Group of companies. By establishing our site in the UK, it is now possible for customers to receive orders from our warehouse in Merseyside. All major stock items are ready for immediate despatch and will be delivered within 3 days from receipt of order.
NITTEL France - Spain and France are important sales areas for NITTEL liners. The Bordeaux site makes it possible for us to cater intensively for both countries. Our local member of staff looks forward to receiving your enquiries in French or Spanish.
NITTEL BV - As a result of 25 years of co-operation between NITTEL and the Ligtermoet company in Moerdijk, both companies merged to form NITTEL B.V. in 2003. The pooling of NITTEL’s areas of expertise with regard to production, material, sales and logistics, combined with the market knowledge of Ligtermoet in the Benelux countries, makes for efficient solutions and customer satisfaction. Deliveries from stock can be made within 24 hours.
